Surf Rescue is a CPR and
board rescue course for any recreational surfer.
At Santa Teresa Lifeguards, we offer surf rescue trainings to empower surfers and community members with the skills and knowledge to help keep our beaches safer. Our goal is to share life-saving techniques, build ocean awareness, and create a stronger, more prepared community—because safety in the water is something we can all be part of.

INDIVIDUAL GROUPS- 1 DAY
Group size: Small group 5-8 people, big group 9-15 people
Price: $300 total per small group, $400 per big group, any extra people $50 per person
INCLUDES:
Ocean knowledge: how rip currents work and how to spot them
Surf rescue techniques: safe approaches, board rescues, and response strategies
Duration: 3-4 hours
INDIVIDUAL GROUPS- 2 DAYS
Group sizes & pricing:
Small group (5–8 people): $500 total
Big group (8–15 people): $650 total
Extra participants: +$50 per person
INCLUDES:
Pool training (swimming & rescue practice)
Apnea training for surf rescue
First Aid, CPR & AED training
Surf rescue techniques (board rescues, safe approaches, response strategy)
Ocean knowledge (rip currents, beach safety, real-life scenarios)
Optional add-on: CPR certificate (internationally recognized): $15 per person
Duration: 3–4 hours per day 2 days total

Be it a patrolled or unpatrolled beach, surfers are on the beach from dawn to dusk, 365 days a year. A lot of them are responsible for hundreds of thousands of unsung rescues.
