When: March 24th, starting at 9:00 AM @STLG headquarters.
What: This day will kick off with essential training sessions from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, covering crucial skills such as CPR, first aid, identifying rip currents, and more. Whether you're a seasoned surfer or just starting out, these sessions will equip you with the knowledge to stay safe and assist others in need.
Lunch Break: Take a break from the waves and refuel from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. It's a perfect opportunity to recharge before diving back into the action-packed afternoon.
Afternoon Session: At 2:00 PM, we'll hit the waves for surf rescue training directly in the ocean. Learn the skills to use your surfboard to save a life and help someone in trouble effectively. It's not just about catching waves; it's about being prepared to handle any situation that arises in the water.
What to Bring: Don't forget to bring your own surfboard! This event is all about putting your skills into action, so come prepared to ride the waves and participate in the training exercises.
Limited Spots Available: Spots for this training are limited. We highly recommend signing up in advance at the gym to secure your spot. Don't miss out on this unique opportunity to enhance your surfing skills and learn life-saving techniques from experienced professionals.
Entry Fee: The entry fee for this event is 20,000 colones, which is a direct donation for our program to ensure our lifeguards have the medical and rescue equipment they need.
Whether you're a casual beachgoer or a dedicated surfer, this surf rescue event offers something for everyone. Join us on March 24th for a day of fun, learning, and making a real difference in our ocean community. See you on the waves!
